Ruth Fear was a validated American supercentenarian known as the oldest living person in Washington at the time of her death.

Ruth Fear was born on 8 December 1911 in Lafontaine, Wilson County, Kansas, United States.

On 21 July 1935, she got married and had two children with her husband. The family moved to Freewater, Oregon, in 1940, and then to Neodesha, three years later. After the war ended, the family relocated again to Freewater. Another relocation occured in 1972, when the family moved to Wapato, Washington.

Teri. She was a devout Christian throughout her life, living simply and loving her family. She outlived her husband, parents, and all nine of her siblings.

Ruth Fear passed away on 3 May 2022 in Sunnyside, Yakima County, Washington, USA.
