Berta Rufina Moya Rivera, age 110, is now a validated Chilean supercentenarian.
Berta Rufina Moya Rivera was born in Lebu, Bío Bío Region, Chile, on 13 October 1913. She was a sister, a wife, and a mother to 3 children.
Moya Rivera devoted her entire life to her family and maintained a strong passion for fashion and dressing elegantly. She lived autonomously until she reached 100 years old, but cooking became challenging thereafter. Despite this, she maintained a decent level of independence until the age of 103.
Her secret to longevity includes drinking plenty of milk, avoiding parties, refraining from smoking, maintaining a healthy diet, and adhering to a regular sleep schedule. She is very religious and prays every night.
As of March 2024, she remains mentally sharp and free from discomfort or diseases. She currently resides in Talcahuano, Bío Bío Region, Chile. She has 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
