Florida’s Oldest Resident Passed Away At 113

LongeviQuest is saddened to report the passing of Mrs. Ada Felicita Avila of Deltona, Florida, USA, who passed away on 11 June 2023, at the age of 113 years, 148 days. Her family confirmed this sad news on her own Instagram account.

Mrs. Avila was born in Portoviejo, Manabí, Ecuador, on 14 January 1910. While in Ecuador, she got married and had eight children. In 1955, she moved to New York, USA with her family.

At the time of her passing, she was the oldest living resident of the U.S. state of Florida, the oldest living Ecuadorian-born person, and the fourth-oldest living person in the United States.
