Salvatore “Vincenzo” Nardi was an Italian supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO). At the time of death, he was the second-oldest living man in Italy, behind Tripolino Giannini.

BIOGRAPHY

Nardi was born in Simbario, Calabria, Italy, on 14 October 1912. He had four children from two different marriages.

When asked about the secret of his longevity, he attributed it to a life far away from anxiety and worries.

Nardi passed away in Simbario, Calabria, Italy, on 2 November 2023, at the age of 111 years, 19 days.

RECOGNITION

His age was verified by Paolo Scarabaggio, and validated by the ESO on 5 May 2023.
