BIOGRAPHY

Elvira Maurno Valladão was born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, on 31 December 1911. At she age of 24, she got married, and the couple had two children (a son and a daughter). After some time, she sought separation from her husband. He passed away in 1949. She sewed for the high society of Ribeirão Preto. Additionally, she went to cabarets to take measurements and create clothing for affluent ladies. This was how she supported her children and grandchildren.

As of March 2023, her daughter was still living, and she also had five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Elvira Maurno Valladão died of pneumonia in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, on 29 December 2023 at the age of 111 years, 363 days.
