Biography
Eleonora Camargo Veiga was born in the Bacacheri neighborhood of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, on 14 August 1901. Her parents were Etelvina Pinto Rebello and Afonso Alves de Camargo, who was the Governor of the State of Paraná from 1916-1920, and again from 1928-1930. She had 10 siblings.
Her younger sister, Flora Camargo Munhoz da Rocha (1911–2014), was the First Lady of the State of Paraná from 1950-1954 and the wife of Bento Munhoz da Rocha Neto.
At some point, she married Didimo Amaral Agapito da Veiga. The couple had at least one daughter: Vera Beatriz Agapito Da Veiga. She was widowed in 1987.
Eleonora Camargo Veiga died in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro City, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil, on 7 March 2016.
