BIOGRAPHY

The anonymous lady was born in Japan on 2 June 1897, and passed away in Minami Ward in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, on 8 February 2010, at the age of 112 years, 251 days.

RECOGNITION

Following the passing of Mineno Yamamoto in 2009, she likely became the oldest living person in Fukuoka Prefecture.

Upon her passing, she was succeeded as the Prefecture’s oldest living person by Hatsuno Tanaka.

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Ryohei Asano, Marco Wikkerink, and Yumi Yamamoto, and validated by LongeviQuest on 8 February 2024.
