BIOGRAPHY
Mineno Yamamoto was born in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, on 8 April 1897.
Mineno Yamamoto passed away in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, sometime between 1 May and 11 September 2009, at the age of 112.
RECOGNITION
Following the passing of 111-year-old Chisato Ito in February 2008, she became the oldest living person in Fukuoka Prefecture. Upon her own passing, she was succeeded by Tome Yoshida.
Her age was verified by the MHLW, Japan, and validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 12 December 2008. The validation was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
