Anna Wilmot

Anna Wilmot (née Gloth) was an American-born Filipino supercentenarian, possibly the oldest living person in the Philippines at the time of death.

Biography

Anna B. Wilmot was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, USA, on 15 August 1898. When she was a teenager, her family moved to Westfield.

She married Frederick Wilmot and had one son, Frederick Jr. In 1960, the couple moved to Westfield, where she lived in a lakeside cottage until 2006, when she moved to California, then soon after to the Philippines to live with her son and daughter-in-law.

Wilmot died on the island of Cebu, Philippines, on 10 May 2009, aged 110 years, 268 days.

Her age was verified by Stefan Maglov, and validated by LongeviQuest on 1 February 2023, becoming the first validated female supercentenarian who died in the Philippines, and second overall after Flaviano Jubane (1909–2020).
