Adolfo Iriarte Portillo was a Honduran semi-supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).

BIOGRAPHY

Iriarte Portillo was born in Honduras on 31 March 1914.

As of October 2021, at least one of his daughters was still living, at the age of 84. At the time, he had great-great-grandchildren.

Iriarte Portillo passed away in La Ceiba, Atlántida, Honduras, on 3 February 2023, at the age of 108 years, 309 days.

RECOGNITION

On 18 June 2021, following the death of 109-year-old Francisco Valeriano Banegas, he became the oldest (known and documented) living man in Honduras.

His age was verified by Fabrizio Villatoro, and validated by the LAS on 23 May 2022.
