BIOGRAPHY
Toshi Higano was born in Japan on 19 June 1899.
Toshi Higano passed away in Yachiyo, Chiba Prefecture, between 18 and 30 September 2011, at the age of 112 years, 91-103 days.
RECOGNITION
On 22 March 2009, following the passing of 112-year-old Kō Iijima, she became the oldest living person in Chiba Prefecture. Upon her own passing, she was succeeded by Riyō Fujihira.
Her age was verified by the MHLW, Japan, and validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 20 October 2009. The validation was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
