Teresa Moraga Jara was a Chilean supercentenarian who, at the time of death, was the oldest known person in the country with age-supporting documentation. Her age has not been validated by LongeviQuest (LQ), but is pending validation by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).
Moraga Jara was born on 29 January 1912.
Moraga Jara has not been recognised for her longevity in any public news outlets. Her grandson made a post praising her on her 110th birthday. LAS categorised her case as “pending validation” on 3 February 2022.
Moraga Jara became the oldest living person in Chile who is either validated or pending validation by LAS upon the death of Carmen Navarra Castro on 14 January 2022.
