Teresa Bottazzi Ceva was an Italian-born Uruguayan semi-supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in Uruguay at the time of her death.

BIOGRAPHY

Teresa Bottazzi Ceva was born in Tortona, Piedmont, Italy on 14 August 1915.

At some point, she married Oreste Vaccari and had three children: Carlo (1938), Ugo (1942), and Piero (1947). During her youth, she worked in a chocolate and nougat factory. In 1951, she permanently moved to Uruguay.

Bottazzi Ceva died in Piriápolis, Maldonado, Uruguay on 3 September 2024, at the age of 109 years, 20 days.
