BIOGRAPHY

Sofía Castillo Sánchez was born in Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo, Mexico, on 1 October 1910. She had 6 children (2 daughters and 4 sons).

At that time of her 110th birthday, she had 23 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Castillo Sánchez died in Mexico City, Mexico on 27 August 2021, at the age of 110 years, 330 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Stefan Maglov and Jeffrey Xu, and validated by the LAS on 3 October 2020.
