Olga Freccia Trento was born in Azambuja, Pedras Grandes, Santa Catarina, Brazil, on 28 July 1917. Her grandparents were from Italy.
Olga dreamed of becoming a lawyer. While her husband worked and provided for the household, Olga took care of all the household chores: preparing meals, shopping, taking care of the children, and making their clothes.
In sewing, Olga was a prominent figure in Urussanga, serving even the local elite. She also devoted herself to other arts. According to her daughters, she painted porcelain and canvas. Olga moved with her family to the community of Rio Deserto, in Urussanga, Santa Catarina. She married Aurélio Trento (19 November 1916 – 15 July 2002), with whom she had five daughters. The family grew later to 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She currently lives in Urussanga, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
