Momo Kataoka (Japanese: 片岡 モモ) is a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Momo Kataoka (片岡モモ) was born in Japan on 3 December 1915. According to reports, at the age of 108, she was living in a nursing home in Kumamoto City, where she efficiently folded other residents’ laundry. At 109, she was still able to walk on her own, and on her 110th birthday, she put on makeup and attended a birthday celebration. She was described as cheerful and talkative, with a personality that brightened those around her.

In September 2024, she was reported as the fourth oldest person living in Kumamoto City. In September 2025, she was reported as the third oldest person living in the city. Following the death of Miho Matsuzaki at the age of 112 on 8 December 2025, Kataoka became the oldest living woman in Kumamoto City.
