Matsue Teranishi was born in Japan on 9 January 1913.

Matsue Teranishi passed away in a hospital in Uozu, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, on 23 February 2023, at the age of 110 years.

RECOGNITION

On 27 November 2022, following the death of 109-year-old Sotojirō Ichii of Imizu, she became the oldest living person in Toyama Prefecture.

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Ryohei Asano, Yumi Yamamoto, and Bogdan Solyanikov, and validated by LongeviQuest on 30 November 2023.
