She currently lives in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan.

In September 2023, she was reported as the 9th oldest person in Iwate Prefecture.
In September 2024, she was reported as the 4th oldest person in the prefecture.
In September 2025, she was reported as the second-oldest person in Iwate Prefecture, after Ichi Kubota.
