Maria de Lourdes Nogueira Lima

BIOGRAPHY

Nogueira Lima was born in Pedro II, Piauí, Brazil on 11 February 1902. In 1924, she married Manoel Nogueira Lima and they had ten children, including the late former mayor Manuel Nogueira Filho, businessman Ciro Nogueira Pai, Aquiles Nogueira and the late Etevaldo Nogueira. The four children were all deputies, two state and two federal.  The couple also adopted three more children.

Nogueira Lima died from old age on 7 July 2010 in Pedro II, Piauí, Brazil, at the age of 108. At the time of her death, she also had 32 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Gabriel Ainsworth and Stefan Maglov and validated by Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS) on 30 October 2022. Her age was recognized by LongeviQuest later.
