BIOGRAPHY

Schrock was born in Congerville, Woodford County, Illinois, USA, on 1 May 1904, to parents Jonathan Schrock (1861–1947) and Naomi Gerber (1868–1944). Both of her parents where of French descent, with her mother being born in Alsace, France. She had seven siblings: Noah (1892–1976), Jesse (1894–1997), Nettie Elizabeth (1896–1990), Naomi Eloise (1900–1995), Ada Marie (1902–1955), Joseph (1906–1991), and Alvin John (1909–1995). She was baptized on 25 May 1919, in the Mackinaw River at the Congerville Apostolic Christian Church.

Schrock resided in Altadena, California, from 1949 to 1957, where she worked as an accountant for Osgood Candy Manufacturer. Following her tenure there, she retired as an accountant from the Schrock Brothers Company in Congerville. She never married nor had children.

Before moving into the Apostolic Christian Home at 103, she used to drive to Sarasota, Florida, every winter. However, her last solo trip there was at the age of 90.

Schrock passed away at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka, Illinois, USA, on 18 July 2014, at the age of 110 years, 78 days.
