Her age was verified by Paolo Scarabaggio and Alessandro Delucchi, and validated by the ESO on 16 February 2024.

On 13 September 2024, following the passing of Dr. Maria Gabriella Lerchenthal-Serra Borneto, she became the oldest living person in Lazio. Upon her own passing, she was succeeded by Francesca Fanizza (born 23 March 1915) of Rome.
