BIOGRAPHY

Onose was born on 31 December 1904 in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. On 16 May 2015, aged 110, she became the oldest person in Ibaraki following the death of 110-year-old Hisa Yamaguchi of Chikusei. RECOGNITION

Onose was recognised for her longevity in a newsletter published in her hometown in October 2007, when she was 102.
