Kami Higa (Japanese: 比嘉カミ) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.
Kami Higa (比嘉カミ) was born in Sueyoshi, Shuri, Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, on 10 October 1883.
At the age of 45, when her grandchild was born, she was still living in Shuri, Naha City, but later moved to Urasoe City.
In September 1993, she was announced by the former Ministry of Health and Welfare as the fifth-oldest living person in Japan.
On 13 November 1993, she passed away from natural causes at a hospital in Urasoe City, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, at the age of 110 years and 34 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Okinawa Prefecture.
Her age was verified by MHLW, Japan, Ryohei Asano and Yumi Yamamoto, and validated by LongeviQuest on 8 November 2025.
