Juana Santos Caballero was born in Chiapas, Mexico, on 24 November 1910 (claimed 1905 or 1906).
Juana Santos Caballero died in Arriaga, Chiapas, Mexico, at 7 PM of 28 January 2022 at the age of 111 years, 65 days. She was survived by seven children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION
In November 2020, social media posts reported her as being 115 years old (her real age being 110 at the time). At the time of death, she was reported to be 117.
The validation process has proven that her actual birthdate was 24 November 1910, making her four to five years younger than claimed. Her age was verified by Santiago García Medina, Stefan Maglov and Fabrizio Villatoro, and validated by the LAS on 12 January 2022.
