BIOGRAPHY

Polanco Tineo was born in the Dominican Republic on 25 May 1914 as the son of Manuel de Jesús Polanco Lizardo (1880 – ?) and Isabel Tineo Brito (1879 – 1952).

On his 108th birthday, Polanco Tineo advised that young people should take care of their bodies. He died in Gurabo, Dominican Republic on 8 September 2023 at the age of 109 years, 106 days.

RECOGNITION

At the time of his death, Polanco Tineo was the Dominican Republic’s second-oldest known male resident, after Francisco Reynoso (1914 – 2024), who was only 17 days his senior.

Polanco Tineo’s age was verified by Stefan Maglov, Fabrizio Villatoro, and an anonymous researcher, and was validated by LongeviQuest on 11 August 2024.
