José Manuel Polanco Tineo was a centenarian from the Dominican Republic who was the second-oldest known man in the country. His age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Polanco Tineo was born in the Dominican Republic on 25 May 1914 as the son of Manuel de Jesús Polanco Lizardo (1880 – ?) and Isabel Tineo Brito (1879 – 1952).

On his 108th birthday, Polanco Tineo advised that young people should take care of their bodies. He died in Gurabo, Dominican Republic on 8 September 2023 at the age of 109 years, 106 days.

RECOGNITION

At the time of his death, Polanco Tineo was the Dominican Republic’s second-oldest known male resident, after Francisco Reynoso (1914 – 2024), who was only 17 days his senior.
