Jeanne Marie Josephine Pirenne-Lempereur was a Belgian supercentenarian. Her age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO).

BIOGRAPHY

Jeanne Pirenne-Lempereur was born in Charneux, Liège, Belgium, on 8 April 1904. She passed away on 18 May 2014, at the age of 110 years and 40 days. In her final years, she lived with her daughter, Jeannine, in the family home in Froidthier.

At the time of her passing, Jeanne had five children, eight grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION

In April 2014, she became the first recorded supercentenarian from the province of Liège. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest living person in Belgium, surpassed only by Fanny Godin.

Pirenne-Lempereur’s age was verified by Anthony Croes-Lacroix and validated by the ESO on 20 February 2022.
