Josino Levino Ferreira Officially Recognized as Brazil’s Second-Oldest Man
Acevedo Luría was born in Mexico on 2 July 1913. He was married and had children and later grandchildren.
During his centenarian years, Acevedo Luría still enjoyed reading. He received new glasses at the age of 104.
Acevedo Luría died in Mexico on 4 April 2023 at the age of 109 years, 276 days.
Acevedo Luría became Mexico’s oldest validated living man on 25 October 2022, following the death of 111-year-old Francisco Juárez Iglesias. Upon his own death, the title passed to Maurilio Montaño Oliver, 109, two months his junior.
