Hina Shikawatari [Japanese: 鹿渡ヒナ] was a Japanese supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in Ishikawa Prefecture at the time of her passing.
Hina Shikawatari was born in Japan on 1 January 1899.
Following the death of 111-year-old Sote Toshima on 22 April 2008, Shikawatari became the oldest living person in Ishikawa Prefecture.
At age 106, she enjoyed taking walks around her neighborhood.
Hina Shikawatari died in Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan on 15 February 2012, at the age of 113 years, 45 days. At the time of her death, she was the sixth-oldest living person in Japan.
Her age was verified by Tom Li and Japan’s MHLW, and validated by the GRG on 8 October 2009.
