Henriqueta Soares Marques was a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).

BIOGRAPHY

Henriqueta Soares Marques was born in the State of São Paulo, Brazil, on 6 May 1911.

In March 2021, at the age of 109, she tested positive for COVID-19, but she successfully recovered at the end of the month, making her one of the oldest known survivors of the disease.

Henriqueta Soares Marques died at 9:35 PM on 12 January 2024 at the age of 112 years, 251 days in the State of São Paulo, Brazil.

RECOGNITION

On 7 September 2022, her age was validated by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).
