Hatsue Ono (Japanese: 小野ハツエ) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG), and recognized by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY
Hatsue Ono was born in Iwate Prefecture on October 31, 1898.
In 1926 she moved to Abashiri, Hokkaido with her husband Shichizo, and from 1930 onwards she lived in Hamakoshimizu. The couple ran a farm, and they were blessed with three sons and three daughters.
Even after her husband died in 1965, she continued to thrive in cattle feeding and dairy farming until she could no longer walk in 2007 at the age of 109. No matter how busy she was with her farm work, it was her pleasure to grow flowers all over her garden.
She did not like many foods, so her daughter fervently prepared her favorite foods for her to eat. Until she was about 80, she liked meat, but after that she liked fish, and her favorite foods were coffee, rice cakes, and dumplings.
She died on October 17, 2012, in Hokkaido, Japan at the age of 113 years and 352 days. She ate her favorite foods such as bread and dumplings until a few days before her death and died of natural causes at her home.
RECOGNITION
On 13 January 2013, at the age of 113 years, 74 days, she surpassed the final age of Mie Ishiguro (1888–2001), becoming the oldest person ever to have lived in Hokkaido Prefecture.
Ono held the title of the Prefecture’s longevity record holder until 3 October 2023, when her final age was surpassed by Tane Matsubara.
