Giuseppa Bruzzi is an Italian supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Giuseppa Bruzzi was born in Farini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, on 4 August 1916 After marrying in 1946, she moved to Porcile di Groppallo, a small rural mountain village in the municipality of Farini, where she spent the rest of her life. She was widowed at the age of 58.
When she celebrated her 108th birthday, she was being cared for by her daughter, Caterina, and her grandson, Ivano. Despite her advanced age, she remained mentally alert and was delighted to receive a visit from Mayor Marco Paganelli, who presented her with a commemorative parchment bearing a special birthday message, along with a floral tribute.
RECOGNITION
Following the passing of Luigia Giunchedi (2 August 1916 – 20 February 2026) of Faenza, she became the oldest living person in the region of Emilia-Romagna.
