BIOGRAPHY

Dora Fletcher was born in Oak, Nuckolls County, Nebraska, United States, on 22 August 1894. In October 1916, she married William Temple, and the pair had two children together, named Betty Eileen and Harry William. In the 1930s, the family moved to Orange County, California, where Fletcher would remain for the rest of her life. The couple were married for 47 years before William’s death in November 1963.

In 2002, to commemorate her 108th birthday, she received a congratulatory certificate from the city of Laguna Woods. She passed away on 7 September 2004, aged 110 years, 16 days.
