Denarde Angelucci was born in Ibitinga, São Paulo, Brazil on 15 May 1916 as the daughter of Italian immigrants. At the age of 11, she left school to assist in farm labour alongside her father. She met her husband, Nicola Angelucci, through this, and the couple married when she was 21.
With her husband, Denarde Angelucci had eight children, two of whom were sadly miscarried. Following the birth of their third child, the family bought a house in Ibitinga. Denarde Angelucci worked as a washerwoman, whilst fulfilling housework and childcare duties.
When she was 95 years old, Denarde Angelucci moved in with family members. At the age of 106, she had 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She remained active even as a centenarian, crocheting without glasses and taking care of her garden aged 108.
Denarde Angelucci still lives in Ibitinga as of 2024, at the age of 108.
Denarde Angelucci’s age was verified by Gabriel Ainsworth and validated by LongeviQuest on 15 August 2024.
