BIOGRAPHY

Jamison was born in St. Kilda, Victoria, Australia, on 7 April 1910. She attended Genazzano FCJ College in Melbourne, graduating in the Class of 1925. At some point, she got married and had children. She eventually moved to the United Kingdom.

At the age of 110, she resided at the Merlewood Care Home in Virginia Water. On her 110th birthday, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she couldn’t be visited by her relatives. However, she received a group call from her sons and family with the assistance of the staff. Cards and gifts were sent by post, and a cake was supplied by the local bakery.

Jamison passed away in Virginia Water, Surrey, England, on 14 June 2020, at the age of 110 years, 68 days.

RECOGNITION

Jamison’s age was verified by Dr. Andrew Holmes and Chris Law, and was validated by the ESO on 9 July 2020.
