Bertha Chapa Maltos was born in Coahuila, Mexico, on 20 September 1912.
Bertha Chapa Maltos passed away in her sleep from natural causes in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico on 22 April 2023 at the age of 110.
RECOGNITION
On 20 September 2020, her 108th birthday, her age was validated by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).
On her 110th birthday, she became the first validated supercentenarian from the State of Morelos.
