Benita Chávez Solano was born in Piedades Sur, Alajuela, Costa Rica, on 16 March 1915.

Benita Chávez Solano passed away in Bijagua de Upala, Alajuela, Costa Rica, on 15 September 2024, at the age of 109 years, 183 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by James Roberts, and validated by LQ on 5 May 2023.

At the time of her passing, she was one of the oldest living people in Costa Rica.
