Annoncia Irma Agathe (née Cyrille) was a French supercentenarian from the overseas department of Guadeloupe.

BIOGRAPHY

Annoncia Irma Agathe was born in Capesterre-Belle-Eau, Guadeloupe, on 26 March 1906. She married Denis Agathe in 1935, and together they had three biological children and one adopted son. Widowed at an early age, she raised her children on her own. She worked various jobs throughout her life, including sewing, coffee picking, cassava farming, and selling goods at the Basse-Terre market.

Annoncia Irma Agathe passed away in Capesterre-Belle-Eau, Guadeloupe, on 26 December 2016, at the age of 110 years, 275 days.

RECOGNITION

On 5 May 2016, following the passing of Germaine Jacmel, she became the oldest known living person in Guadeloupe. Upon her own passing, she was succeeded by Marthe Roch.

Her age has not been validated.
