BIOGRAPHY

Rueda Hernández was born on 2 June 1909 in Mexico City, Mexico. When she was 1-year-old, she got orphaned since her mother died. Then her paternal grandmother took care of her later.

Between 1930s and 1940s, she moved in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City. During her youth, she worked in a store. At some point, she married and had three children: María, Armando and Genoveva, who would later give her 10 grandchildren. Her husband was a railroad worker.

Rueda Hernández passed away on 29 January 2020 in Mexico City, Mexico, at the age of 110.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Stefan Maglov and Fabrizio Villatoro, and validated by LAS on 17 April 2020.
