Ana Faustina Tejada

BIOGRAPHY

Ana Faustina Tejada was born in Popayán, Cauca Department, Colombia, on 9 February 1915. At some point, she married Matías Valdes, and the couple had five children.

At the age of 102, when asked what advice does she give her grandchildren, she replied: “Be kind, behave well with everyone.” She shared that when someone gets married, it’s important to know how to relate to their spouse in a way that avoids constant arguments. She said she managed that with her husband—he treated her well, and in turn, she was able to raise her children and support their education. She attributed her long life to God. Ever since childhood, she had never been ill.
