Isabel Vega Quirós was a Costa Rican semi-supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Isabel Vega Quirós was born in San José, San José Province, Costa Rica, on 20 November 1913. Her parents were Domingo Vega Carvajal (1873–1941) and María Quirós Sánchez (1879–1959). She had at least two sisters: Ángela (1905–2006) and Teresa (1909–1980).

In 1929, she married Carlos Manuel Porras Sánchez (1909–1984), and the couple had five children: Virginia (born 1935), Maruja (born 1940), Elena (1945–1991), Sandra (born 1950) and Randall Jorge (born 1957).

In March 2021, she was vaccinated against Covid-19.

Isabel Vega Quirós passed away in Ipís, Goicoechea, San José Province, Costa Rica, on 15 December 2022, at the age of 109 years, 25 days.
