Antônio Quessada was a Brazilian semi-supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Antônio Quessada was born in São Manuel, São Paulo, on 16 May 1917. More precisely, he was born at Fazenda de Antônio Justo, which belonged to his maternal grandfather. His father, José Quessada Gimenes, was born in Spain and immigrated to Brazil as a child. His mother, Domingas Justo, was born in Brazil but was the daughter of Italian immigrants. José and Domingas were married in 1909 and had a large family, raising 11 children: José, Antônio, Maria, Délia, Ricardo, Ana, the twins Joaquim and Segundo, Sebastião, Antonieta, and Paulo.

At the age of 23, Antônio married Carolina de Plácido (6 September 1919 – 6 June 2017) on 30 November 1940. They had four children: Otília, João, Pedro, and Vicentina. Over the years, their family has grown to include 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
