Suzanne Décélis was born in Meurad, Tipaza, Algeria (then French Algeria), on 13 July 1909.

RECOGNITION

At the time of her passing, she was the fourth-oldest (known) living person in France, following Lucile Randon, Elise Tavan, and Iréna Martial (although Martial was from the overseas department of Guadeloupe).

Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 29 February 2024. This validation is yet to be recognized by LongeviQuest.
