BIOGRAPHY

Pelardy Bessette was born in Quebec, Canada, on 13 February 1913, to parents Osias Palardy and Marie Anne Fréchette. She had at least three sisters: Berthe, Thérèse, and Jeanne.

At some point, she married Romuald Bessette. The couple had two children: Régis Bessette and Nicole (married Brochu).

Pelardy Bessette passed away in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, on 9 December 2023, at the age of 110 years, 299 days. She was survived by her two children, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
