LongeviQuest is pleased to confirm that Esther Dalton, the sixth oldest person in the UK, celebrated her 112th birthday on 5th June at her home in Carlisle, Cumbria.
Mrs. Dalton celebrated her special day quietly saying “it’s just an ordinary day – with a nice meal”, the nice meal being fish and chips, because its “fish and chip Friday” (the day people in the U.K. traditionally eat fish and chips). She also received special card from King Charles.
At the age of 112, Mrs. Dalton is described by her career as “An amazing lady, she is always independent with all her daily tasks – making sure her flat is kept clean, and she loves her gardening.” Mrs. Dalton herself believes the secret to her long life is “good food and good fresh air.”
Mrs. Dalton’s 112th birthday marks the first time there have been six people living simultaneously at the age of 112 or higher in the U.K.
LongeviQuest extends warmest congratulations to Mrs. Dalton on her 112th birthday.
