Anna Natella, the oldest living person in Florida, USA, is celebrating her 113th birthday today in Fort Myers.
Natella was born as Anna Boffilo in Irsina, Matera, Basilicata, Italy, on 21 November 1912. At the age of 13, she and her family emigrated to the United States, and she went on to live in New York, and later in Milburn, New Jersey. As a young girl, Natella was hard-working. She was forced to drop out of school to help support her family.
In 1937, she married Dominic Natella. The couple had two daughters: Mary and Cynthia. In her later years, Natella and her husband moved to Florida. Her husband passed away in April 1974.
On 11 June 2023, following the death of 113-year-old Ada Avila, she became the oldest known living person in the U.S. state of Florida.
LongeviQuest extends warm congratulations to Anna Natella on her 113th birthday.
