Onorina Apprato de Tagliaferro, a resident of Río Tercero, Córdoba Province, Argentina, passed away on 10 August, at the age of 112 years, 34 days.

Onorina Apprato was born in the comune of Castellero in the Province of Asti, Piedmont, Italy, on 7 July 1913.

In 1933, at the age of 20, she moved to the city of Río Tercero, Argentina, along with her husband, José Tagliaferro. The couple had two children: Humberto and Elsa. She was a housewife. She commented that she missed her homeland after moving away. Later, she returned there about four times.

At the time of her passing, she was the third-oldest living person in Argentina, after Angelica Tiscornia and Rosa Micaela Puertas.
