Josefa Muixí Font, a resident of Guissona, Catalonia, Spain, passed away on 24 July, at the age of 111 years, 24 days. Her passing was first reported by Regió7.
Muixí Font was born in Calaf, Barcelona, Catalonia, on 30 June 1914.
At the time of her passing, she was the fifth-oldest known living person in Spain, and the second-oldest in Catalonia, after Angelina Torres Vallbona.
