David Golden, a resident of Long Beach, New York, USA, is celebrating his 110th birthday today.
David Golden was born in Brooklyn on 21 July 1915. He graduated from City College with a degree in Business Administration and held various positions throughout his career, including roles as an accountant and as treasurer for a real estate development firm in Manhattan.
At the age of 21, Golden met his future wife, Ethel Rosenberg. The couple married in 1940 and chose to settle in Long Beach. Ethel’s brother, Abner, built four houses in the city. The Goldens moved into one of them and lived there until Ethel’s passing in 2006, after 66 years of marriage. Golden had a lifelong passion for music, art, and reading, and remained actively involved in Temple Benai Asher, formerly known as the Sephardic Temple of Long Beach.
On his 109th birthday in 2024, he was visited by Council President Finn and Councilman Reinhart, who joined the celebration and presented him with a special citation from the City.
LongeviQuest extends warm congratulations to David Golden on his 110th birthday.
