Eunice Beech, the oldest living resident of Warwickshire, England, passed away in Bedworth on 11 January, at the age of 111 years, 182 days. Her passing was first reported by the Oldest in Britain website, which tracks the oldest individuals in the United Kingdom.
Beech was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, on 13 July 1913.
On 13 August 2024, following the passing of John Farringdon, she became the oldest living person in the ceremonial county of Warwickshire. At the time, she also became the oldest (known) person in the region of the West Midlands.
At the time of her passing, she was the fourth-oldest living person in the United Kingdom, after Ethel Caterham, Merah Smith, and Adela Harrison.
