Clotilde Osorio Zafra is a validated Mexican semi-supercentenarian at 108 years old.
Clotilde Osorio Zafra was born on 3 June 1916 in Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca, Mexico.
At 25 years old, she married Enrique Montes Palacios and had six children with him. The couple started a business by dedicating themselves to bread production and grocery sales. In 1936, they moved to the city of Oaxaca to get a better education for their children.
When asked about the secret to her long life, she says, “Sleep well and eat well.” Her grandson believes that “perhaps her biggest secret is her good character; no one has ever seen her get mad, and she remains calm in the face of adversity.”
